Sahana Singh


Sahana Singh is an author and commentator based in Ithaca in New York State, USA. She is an environmental engineer by qualification who writes on a variety of issues including Indian history, water management and education. Her first book “The Educational Heritage of Ancient India - How an Ecosystem of Learning was Laid to Waste” has been appreciated for awakening Indians to the role played by India in spreading knowledge around the world. She is on the board of many nonprofit organizations related to history, heritage, education, restoration of Samskara and to the cause of helping Hindu refugees.

Raghava Krishna

Raghava, the Founder and CEO of Brhat Culture Creative LLP, brings his expertise in cultural storytelling, policy research, and leadership development to Virchus. He has 21 years of experience in game development, learning, and entrepreneurship, and was also the Co-founder and Associate Dean - Academics at Rashtram School of Public Leadership, and Development Director at Electronic Arts (EA Sports).

Shanti Krishnamurthy

Shanti K is the Director - Academics & Administration, Chinmaya International Residential school, and Director - Central Chinmaya Mission Trust Education Cell, the Governing body of 95 Schools and 9 colleges in India and abroad. Shanti Krishnamurthy has over 44 years of experience as Mathematics teacher and administrator in the field of education.

Shanti Badrinarayanan

Shanti is a M.Phil in English, a B.Ed., and a PG Diploma in Public Relations. She has 37 years of experience in Academics . She has worked in prestigious IB schools like Silver Oaks International & domestic learning centres

Together, these four brilliant individuals provide invaluable guidance to the Virchus team, ensuring that the values of the school are upheld and that every child receives holistic education with roots in our ancient civilisation as they grow to become global citizens.
